Welcome to Dale Cemetery

A non-denominational, non-sectarian cemetery owned by the Town of Ossining, covering nearly forty acres of beautiful, hilly, well maintained land. In the midst of a vibrant town, you’ll find a serene oasis of peace.

Please note the Gated Entrance off of Dale Avenue and Marble Place is closed Monday – Friday, but open on weekends and holidays.

The Cemetery Office is generally open Monday through Friday, 8AM to 3PM, and is closed on weekends and holidays. People wishing to meet with the Superintendent should call for an appointment (914 941-1155), as attendance at funerals, marking out grave locations, and making burial arrangements with families will prevent the Superintendent from accommodating walk-in visitors. Thank you for your understanding.

The area of the cemetery covers nearly forty acres and includes the graves of many early residents whose remains were removed to Dale Cemetery from original burial grounds in the area.
